Pushing Back the Darkness Odri Gibbor, © 2022-07 Here he is! No, there he is! “Faceless” hiding out as “Everyman”. Here he goes! No, there he goes! “Nameless”, he calls himself “Angel of Light”! What are you gonna do, when he takes all from you? What do you wanna do, now that you know the Truth? Pushing back the Darkness, suffocating, tangible Pushing back that Darkness, black fog across your face. Heavy, close, oppressive, there is no way through, Stand your ground, you’re not alone! There is hope! Just when you think, it is a fine day, You close your eyes and hope that all is well. Peripheral field: he’s the Dark Day, You blink, but can you see him with your eyes made of glass? What are you gonna do, when he takes all from you? What do you wanna do, now that you know the Truth? Pushing back the Darkness, suffocating, tangible Pushing back that Darkness, black fog across your face. Heavy, close, oppressive, there is no way through, Stand your ground, you’re not alone! There is hope for you! Hold your ground! (Pushing back, pushing back!) Make the push! (Pushing back, pushing back!) Don’t give up! (Taking back, taking back!) Say the Word! Step by step (Pushing back, pushing back!) Don’t let fear take you out Free your mind (Taking back, taking back) Speak the Truth! Pushing back the Darkness, Pushing back the Darkness, Heavy, close, oppressive, there is no way through, Stand your ground! There is hope for you!

Eye of the Snake Odri Gibbor, © 2022-08 Beware, the Eye of the Snake! Beware, your soul it will take! Beware, the Eye of the Snake! Beware, your soul it will take! Magic charms, you use as snares; Trap the birds, with beguiling words! Arcane arts, your potions sweet, Subtle power ensnares the prey! Painted words, Seductive veils! Mystical, intoxicating! Beware, the Eye of the Snake! Beware, your soul it will take! Beware, the Eye of the Snake! Beware, your soul it will take! Following your spirit, blind See nothing, your visions lie! Divinations, your words are false! Speculum, a broken image! Your white-washed walls will be torn down, Broken down to the foundations! Like lambs to the slaughter, you led them astray Their hearts so fragile, you caused to faint. I will save them from your hands. When the savage storm is done, They will ask: “Where have you gone, You and your white-washed walls?” With your lies you took life, And let the dead live! Beware, the Eye of the Snake! Beware, your soul it will take! Beware, the Eye of the Snake! Beware, your soul it will take! Beware, the Snake won't be charmed, Beware, your soul it will harm! Beware, the tune of the pipe, Beware, the venomous bite!

Rebuild the Walls Odri Gibbor, © 2022-06 CHRONICLER: Down through the annals of time, there have always been prophecies, oral history handed down: from one, then to another, from one generation to the next, Seers told of the visions they saw. Long-ago forgotten words, hidden scrolls, curated carefully by the faithful ones, the Old Ones. They tell of the rise and fall of great cities. Those words also tell of the restoration of once good things, debased. For 700 years, the scrolls sealed in secret vaults, waited for The Day. POET: In ages past, those once-proud walls stood strong and tall against the sky, The city loved, desired of all, Beautiful Camelot of her day, Safe haven, no more. Fair justice, twisted. Chimera’s ascent in the dark, murdering Compassion, Grinding Virginal into the dust! WATCHERS: Judgement came in the blackness of Night, Passageways dark, exposed to the Light, Safety and Serenity converging into Tragedy! CHRONICLER: After The Day of Utter Destruction, seven eons slip by. The last grains of sand run out in the Celestial Hourglass. Lost words on hidden scrolls begin to resurrect: the earth moves, terracotta pots shake, filled with ancient fire! STENTOR: It is time! The Day has come! It is time for the Word to come alive! Open hearts, open ears will hear the Whispers on the Wind: “Leave the lotos eating-place, And go Rebuild the Walls!” POET: Come gather at the Broken Walls, lumps of stone bow before the Sky, Heaps of rubble, be appalled, Once-lovely Camelot, brought to ruin! Safe haven, rebuild! Fair justice, reborn! Hope dawns anew, birthing Readiness, Restoring foundations, Restoring Trust. CHRONICLER And WATCHERS: Courage comes in the blackness of Night, Finding a reason to hope, when all seems lost, Passageways dark, exposed to the Light, Although challenges may abound, there is a way of escape, always Safety and Security morph into Reality! The impossible becomes possible! STENTOR: It is time! The Day has come! It is time, for the Word to come alive! Open hearts, open ears hear the Whisper on the Wind: “Leave the lotos eating-place, And come Rebuild the Walls!” ORACLE: Shake off the chains! Beat off the dust! Break mental servitude now, you must! Lift up your eyes, lift up your mind! Lift up your hearts, now is the Time! The Lord of the Manor arises on high, His thunders and lightnings split open the sky, Libertas, clothe yourself once more! Wear royal robes like the eagle and soar! STENTOR: It is Time, the Day has come! It is Time! The Word has come alive! Open hearts, open ears hear the Thunder on the Wind, “Leave the lotos eating-place, And come (and come), come (come now) Come now, (come), Rebuild (rebuild) the Walls!”

The Collar 05:03
The Collar Odri Gibbor, © 2016, 2022 My hands are clean, of this I’m sure So, why am I in this place, Your prisoner of war? Here I am to make my case; Where’s my judge to vindicate? No one heeds my innocence, There is nothing I can do! What can I say? What is the Truth? Can’t escape, it’s nothing new. Without a doubt, there’s no way out, Without a word, without a shout! Sentence passed and handed down: Without redemption, I will die; Round my neck a fallen crown! Here it is, the die is cast, It seems now all hope is lost! With no chance of escape, There is nothing I can do! What can I say? What did I do? Can’t escape, it’s nothing new. Without a doubt, there’s only one way out, With one word, with one shout! Whose, the Face beyond the shroud? Whose, the Voice that rings so clear? “Absolution” is the word! How did I get trapped in here? It looked so good but now the fear! The Collar round my neck is tight, How did I think I was right? I made my choice, can’t change the past. I look at myself through the eyes of the glass. Trapped in that place, all dreams are dead! But what is it that He said? He said! I made my choice, can’t change the past. I look at myself through the eyes of the glass. Trapped in that place, all dreams are dead! But Absolution’s what He said! He said!

Bloodstone 04:28
Bloodstone Music: Odri Gibbor Lyrics: Andrew Marvell*, Odri Gibbor**, © 2022-11 *Excerpt from A Dialogue, Between the Resoved Soul, And Created Pleasure by Andrew Marvell published in a collection of poems in 1681. ~~~~~ *Courage, my soul! Now learn to wield The weight of thine immortal shield; Close on thy head thy helmet bright; Balance thy sword against the fight; See where an army, strong as fair, With silken banners spread the air! **Bloodstone! Bloodstone! Raise up the standard, Bloodstone! Courage to face danger and fear, Valor for confidence to persevere; Bravery, strategy, war skills hone, March under the banner, Bloodstone! *Now if thou be’st that thing divine, In this day’s combat let it shine, And show that nature wants an art To conquer one resolve’d heart. See where an army, strong as fair, With silken banners spread the air! **Bloodstone! Bloodstone! Raise up the standard, Bloodstone! Courage to face danger and fear, Valor for confidence to persevere; Bravery, strategy, war skills hone, March under the banner, Bloodstone! Bloodstone! Bloodstone! Raise up the standard, Bloodstone! Courage! (to face) Danger! (and Fear!) Valor! (for confidence) Persevere! (persevere!) Overcome fear with heart and soul, March under the banner, Bloodstone!
